Why should I work with an advisor or, more specifically, First Street Wealth Advisors?
We live in a Google “how to do it world” that would have us believe that we can do it all by ourselves. All you need to do is Google how to perform surgery, create an effective trust, self-service your hybrid auto or create a financial plan that really works. The reality is different.
Creating a great financial plan; sticking to it and making adjustments when your circumstances change requires experience, knowledge, a team of trusted competent specialists and the ability to deliver all of that when needed so you can live your life.

Are we a fiduciary?
A fiduciary has a legal and ethical obligation to act in the best interests of another person or entity, placing their interests above one's own.
From an ethical perspective, we have always acted as fiduciaries even before it was clearly defined as a legal obligation.

Do we have an account minimum?
Typically a client needs at least $250,000 of investable assets. We make exceptions for family members of clients (children, grandchildren, etc.).
How much do we get paid for our services?
Most of our work is compensated through an Assets Under Management (AUM) structure. This allows for a fair and equitable cost structure for you, the client and by it’s very nature, means we have vested interest in your financial security.
Some solutions are available only through a commission structure.
As a practice, we always provide you all costs, net of fee performance comparisons and full disclosure of compensation for any solutions we design. This goes hand in hand with our ethical commitment to being a fiduciary.

What Security procedures do you have in place?
We use state of the art systems, tools and equipment for our practice. Computers are updated regularly to manufacture and software standards.
All internet equipment has multiple antivirus and anti malware software in addition to monitoring software to insure that everything is up to date and working.
Planning software is password protected with two part authentication and regular password change requirements.
Correspondences involving client sensitive data is managed through our secure document management service – Verifyle.
Hard copy material is locked and secured both during office and non-office hours and soft copy information is passcode protected and securely backed up to protect it and allow access by authorized personnel only should there be an act of nature that impacts our firm’s operations.

Does First Street Wealth Advisors provide CPA, attorney, legal, tax and trust planning?
We are securities licensed advisors. Our work focuses on design and planning for you, your loved ones, your business and your legacy. Often this requires consideration of legal and accounting issues.
We do not provide legal, accounting or trust specific advice BUT we do commit to working with our clients accounting, legal and trust professionals to make sure that the work we do is coordinated with the laws, taxes and income issues that could impact you.
Additionally, as a firm, we have long standing relationships with legal, accounting and trust professionals that we can introduce you to should you need to add that type of support to your planning.
We do not provide legal, accounting or trust specific advice BUT we do commit to working with our clients accounting, legal and trust professionals to make sure that the work we do is coordinated with the laws, taxes and income issues that could impact you.
